Hotel Fontana Amalfi, Amalfi

My stay at the hotel was quite disappointing. While the rooms were spacious as expected, they were old and basic, making it the worst place we stayed in during our trip to Italy. The smell was unpleasant, and even the amenities provided, like a used men's shaving razor, were not up to par. The service, however, was better than some other places, with friendly and cooperative staff offering various conveniences like room service and shuttle options. The location was excellent, right in the heart of Amalfi with stunning views of the sea, although the access involved steep steps. The dining experience was basic but adequate, with some disorganization in maintaining the food options. Unfortunately, the facilities were lacking, and the overall value was not worth the money spent.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel with fantastic views over the Piazza and sea from my balcony. The rooms were spacious, quiet, and had individual bathrooms, making it very comfortable. The location was perfect, near all the amenities like the beach, buses, and restaurants, but there were some service hiccups and the dining experience could have been better.

The hotel was quite basic but offered spacious rooms, lacking a water cooker. However, the room overlooked the main square of Amalfi with 2 balconies, providing a great experience. The breakfast was minimal but acceptable, slightly worn but with fantastic views.
